Scuba Skills Refresher

       Under SeaHunt Divers instructor supervision, certified divers enrolled in this program will have the opportunity to refresh their scuba skills. The academics are reviewed through home study by completing the PADI Scuba Tune-up Book or by students reading their Open Water Manual.  Our Program includes a confined-water skill review. During this session the student will practice all the skills they learned in their open water course:

  • Equipment setup
  • Entry and exit techniques.
  • Mask clearing and replacement
  • Proper fin techniques
  • Regulator clearing and recovery
  • Buoyancy Skills - Fin pivot and hovering
  • Out of Air Skills - Alternate air source and emergency swimming ascent
  • Remove and replace the weight belt and scuba unit at the surface and underwater.
  • Ample free time to practice the skills
  • Equipment breakdown
  • Ocean dives can be done through our Dive Program.

Prerequisite: Diving certification

Program Materials:  All Scuba equipment for the pool session will be supplied except mask, snorkel, and fins.
